 I didn't see a reply to this so I'll give a quick one:

 the limit is grid size related to size of the drawing (larger drawings, larger grid min). However, if you wish to go below this limit you can do so by clicking the down button. It does not decrease the displayed number, but it decreases the actual grid size once you press ok. (A little bug? :) ) You can keep track of it however - the increase/decrease buttons change the grid size by 1 until you reach 1, and then it changes by 0.1 after that (I suspect it changes by 0.01 below 0.1).

You will receive a warning about processing, but how important this is depends on how much of the map will be covered by graph vertexes.
