Public space is widely appreciated in architectural design, for its freedom and flexibility to trigger a variety of social activities.因为公共空间的自由度和灵活性可以触发一系列的社交活动，所以在建筑设计中公共空间备受关注。 However, in the college buildings, public space bears also the possibilities of self-access learning behavior, which is widely encouraged in the higher education.但是，在校园建筑中，公共空间也承载了在高等教育中所备受推崇的自主学习行为发生的可能性。 This paper is aiming to explore the effect of the morphology of public space on self-access learning behaviors within college buildings.本文是旨在探讨校园建筑内的公共空间形态对自主学习行为的影响。 In the research, a series of public spaces within college buildings of Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT) are analyzed with Space Syntax, and investigated with mapping the learning behaviors and non-learning behaviors.在研究中，我们用空间句法分析了内蒙古工业大学（IMUT）校园建筑内的一系列公共空间，并使用标记学习行为和非学习行为的方法进行调研。 Through the analysis of the above data, it shows that self-access learning behaviors tend to happen at the public space that is less visible and less accessible.通过对以上数据的分析，结果表明自主学习行为更有可能发生在较为隐秘和不易到达的公共空间。
